Former ‘Survivor’ contestant, OSU student dies of cancer Comments
Jennifer Lyon, 37, a former Oregon State University student who was the fourth place contestant on CBS’s 2005 series “Survivor: Palau,” died at home Jan. 19, after a long five-year battle with breast cancer.
After earning a Bachelor of Science degree in nutrition and food management from OSU, Lyon earned a master’s degree in family consumer sciences at California State University and worked as a nanny and photographer in Los Angeles.
